Wi-Fi Camera (Web of Cam) App Reviews

App works well especially when viewing the connection over a browser. Only gripe is frame rate, needs to be consistent and not drop the 1% of packets it does. Side note: you can view this outside of your network, as long as you forward the port through your router and view on a desktop

Works great and very little hassle to set up! Even able to use it through tethering in the field. Works great for an inspection camera on vehicles. Just wish you could turn the torch/flash on & off...

It freezes a lot.

Pretty cool app. I wish you could record and have sound though. And also not be limited to the wifi.

You can easily set up port forwarding on your router to make this app usable from anywhere in the world. There are countless you tubes of how to do this. Even minecraft server you tubes can tell you how. Its not really that difficult with some basic network knowledge.

Using the app over wifi with iPad as camera and iphone5 as viewer is awful. The lag is more than 10 seconds and sometimes it freezes and never refreshes. However, and heres the other 50. The IP address it gives u on the camera screen is amazing. You go to the link and boom. Instant viewing. On iphone 5 I noticed less than two seconds delay. And iphone 4 had up to 5 seconds delay. Both still faster than app to app. Oh and this app has no sound. Please add sound.

Tends to lag and freezes a lot, as others have noted. Nice concept though.

Everything is perfect.No problems except for being on the same wifi in order to see it.

I have eyes to see if i am within the same wireless network, it needs to be made so I can see it if I am not in the same wifi but is still a secure connection between devices

I had a little trouble starting it but ounce I got it going I got the hang of it. I dont really get it why I had to download it on two electronics instead of having it on one electronic so it could get a update. If you do not have two phones or electronics then I dont recommend it because you need two electronics. I deleted it after a while. ;says guilty;

REAL,REAL,REAL,slow.it cant pair! I bet it would be real cool :)

Step 3 fails to connect with my wireless camera

I want to watch my dog and I couldnt because moment I got out my house lost connection! Bad idea!
